War Eagle is the battle cry of Auburn University, not its mascot and not its nickname. It is the Tiger — the largest of the cat species — that represents the spirit of the university's athletic prowess which spans many decades.  Auburn began its collegiate football program in 1892. It was the same year that the school admitted women.

Naturalist artist Stephen Malkoff, an Auburn Tiger and former football player himself, has rendered in intricate detail the symbol of the University's physical power and cunning on the fields of sports. Malkoff and Auburn have eached earned national recognition for their accomplishments.

For Tiger - War Eagle, artist Stephen Malkoff designed the carved tree bark wooden frame and the triple matting in traditional school colors to complement this print.

Auburn Tiger has long been feared and it has the championships to prove it. Malkoff's Auburn Tiger signed and numbered limited edition prints are a perfect side-by-side addition with his earlier Tiger - War Eagle that is proudly displayed in homes and offices by students, faculty and alumni of this enduring university.

For the framed option, artist Stephen Malkoff designed the carved tree bark wooden frame and the triple matting in traditional school colors to complement this print.

Fear the Tiger is under license of the Collegiate Licensing Company.
